Travellers Palm Backpacker Hostel welcomes you, to comfortable and affordable rooms on Caye Caulker. We offer spacious rooftop terrace, and a large kitchen area with spectacular views of the sunset. Our brightly colored building contains; 4 large dorm rooms, each room consists of 4 bunk beds, two dorm rooms have air conditioning. If you want some privacy we offer a private two bunk beds room, with air conditioning. All dorm rooms have a in-suite bathroom with hot and cold water shower, refrigerator, free WiFi, every bed has a personal electrical outlet for charging, as well as a fan, private lockers and free drinking water. On arrival our friendly staff will be there to provide a warm welcome and take extra care to ensure each guest has a clean and comfortable space for their visit.

Caye Caulker is a small island and people get around by walking or on bikes and golf carts.
Four Dorm Rooms & One Private Dorm Room
Our brightly colored building contains four large rooms, eight bed (4 bunk beds) dorm rooms, two with air conditioning. If you want some privacy we offer one private four bed (2 bunk beds) dorm room, with air conditioning. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold shower, refrigerator, WiFi, private lockers for valuables, every bed has a personal electrical outlet for charging, as well as a fan and free drinking water. Check in is at 2pm, Check out is at 10am. Luggage can be stored in the office during office hours. Rooms are cleaned daily between 10am-2pm. Guests must be 18 and older. No pets allowed. Any cancellations or postponements made after 10am the day before check-in will be charged in full for the first night only.

We had a really good stay here. the facilities it has and the way its run is probably the best we’ve come across in our 6 months of travel. There’s a nice rooftop area with an open kitchen and seating area. The dorms have very good mattresses, the beds each have a small table area at the head of the bed which is great for putting stuff on (some that that although basic, makes a positive difference to your stay). There’s free drinking water, a fridge for each dorm. The beds and made fresh every day, and we saw the cleaner actually moving all the furniture and cleaning under and beneath it all every day, which is something I haven’t seen in my travels. Kudos guys, definitely worth a visit!
Excellent stay in a beautiful island owners were so helpful my favourite hostel I’ve stayed at. And really cheap. Rooms clean, super hot shower. Free drinking water, fridge in dorm. Great rooftop kitchen/ chill out area. had a wonderful stay.
Best hostel in Caye Caulker. Such an amazing hostel vibe!the owners Pops & Sophie have thought of everything for your comfort! Massive roof terrace with sea views, full of all the utensils you need for cooking or partying. Free drinking water in the dorms as well as a fridge! Amazing! Fans in the beds kept you cool at night & rooms were cleaned daily!100% the best hostel we've stayed at & will definitely again! Highly recommend as well the hostels tours with pops. We swam with stingrays & nurse sharks & saw a manatee! Stay at this place the owners are amazing! Thank you for everything! Kayaks you can borrow & snorkelling gear! Literally the best! xx
If you go to Island go there. This place is amazing, Paps and Sophie are the best host’s I met, the hostel has good vibe and a cool rooftop to sit. Great kitchen, the rooms are comfy and the AC works great. I will recommend to do also the snorkeling tour with them. They take care of everything and we got a warm welcome.
I stayed in this hostel in February of 2020, and had a great experience. It was a low-key place to land upon arrival in Caye Caulker. It is a perfect place for the flexible traveler who is looking to have a good experience on the island on a budget, and is relatively good for meeting other travelers. I enjoyed the incredible views from the rooftop balcony -- a great place to have evening conversations or to spend time alone.
We had a great stay in travellers palm. Sophie and Pops were excellent, as were the other staff. The hostel had a lovely atmosphere, and rooms / bathrooms / communal areas were always kept clean to a high standard. Free tea and coffee and free use of kayaks was also a great addition. All for a very reasonable price - great fun was had :)
